The Center on African American Politics and Society (CAAPS) provides an intellectual infrastructure for social science research on the political, social, and economic conditions affecting black communities. CAAPS is sponsored by The Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy (ISERP), Columbia University's research institute dedicated to the social sciences.
